The NLPOA has established an educational Scholarship in the amount of $1000 which is awarded at each Annual National NLPOA Convention and at each NLPOA Fall Business Meeting.

The Award Recipient is selcted by the host chapter prior to the event and all nominations must be submitted to Jeff Mallow, the Central Region Vice President, at least 30 days prior to the event.

NV Scholarship Recipients

Nevada has been blessed with, not one, but two, NLPOA Scholarship recipients, Francis Ortiz De Jesus and Migheal Herrera.

Francis is a 2003 graduate of Las Vegas High School, Nevada. She will be attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received a $1000 Scholarship from the NLPOA Clark County Las Vegas Chapter.

Migheal Herrera received his $1000 scholarship from the NLPOA Clark County Las Vegas Chapter to attend the University of Nevada, Reno.
